Synopsis
While passing the time before the fireworks begin Arata sees Chizuru taking Ryō's arm for support while walking, giving him complicated feelings. The others drag Kazuomi and Rena some distance away from each other to plan their approaching confessions.

The group of friends decide to spend the time before the fireworks begin by taking a look around the festival stands, and to Arata's annoyance An immediately clings to his arm refusing to let go even though he asks her to. Honoka and Akira agree to have a goldfish-catching contest, and Rena and Kazuomi are both nervous due to their plans to confess their feelings during the festival. As Chizuru is having trouble walking in her yukata Ryō offers his arm to her for support, and after making sure it is really all right she accepts.
An asks Arata to take her to buy some takoyaki, and as Arata takes a look around to see if everyone is still nearby he catches sight of Chizuru walking together with Ryō holding his arm. The sight makes him shudder and he instantly begins to restlessly wonder about the nature of Chizuru and Ryō's relationship, noting the fact that Chizuru is calling Ryō by his first name again. Though he thinks Ryō is only doing his job, Arata considers it quite possible that Chizuru may have feelings for Ryō. In his mind Arata notes that despite their age difference Chizuru looks really good in her red yukata, but at the same time thinks she and Ryō would make a good match. As she comes back from the vendor, An takes a note of what happened with a knowing smile.
With the time for the fireworks display drawing near, the group of friends start making their way toward the viewing area. Arata drags Kazuomi to one side to talk about his plans for his confession, and Honoka and Chizuru do the same with Rena.
