I don't even know if there exist official English version of the "webcomics". I only have access to the 7 volumes of comic books in English, Crunchyroll version. I also have physical copies of the Japanese comics volumes 1~5 and 7. Volume 6 was out of stock at my local Japanese bookstore, but I'm going to Japan this December so I'll buy it then instead of ordering online.
Anyways, as you can see, the comics version doesn't have the "title image". The title of the report is just a small strip of text.
Personally I don't see the point of having the fan-translated Title (EN) images. The great majority of the time the English translation of the report title is already available in the wiki article anyways. The image is also just generally very boring...
But if anyone think there is value/interest in having them, I also won't object. Different people like/want/expects different things, and I think there is no harm in having fan-translated Title (EN) images.
Re: Bonus Report Infobox.
I saw that the bonus report was constructed using the Template:Report, I have no problems with it's mechanisms but I recommend using the raw code in order for us to control the infobox color.
Re: Character & Episode Infobox
These infoboxes that are currently implemented to their respective pages is not uniform with our current template for reports. I have plans on overhauling both of them. Do you, perhaps, have some recommended additional parameters to consider? As color scheme for both infobox would help also.
The infobox color can just be another parameter with a default, so Bonus Report wouldn't need to copy the raw code but just need to specify the overriding color parameter. Let me know what colors you want.
But since we are on the subject of infoboxes, for Reports I want to suggest that we stop using the "title picture" as the primary/default image representing the report, and switch to use the snippet image instead.
When you look at the thumbnail of the title images, it's pretty much impossible to tell one report from another, and when you've seen enough of them, they start to look very very very boring even when it is a new report. We can still keep the "title picture" on the article, just don't use it as the first image people see when loading the article for the report.
BTW, this might be a good time to experiment with Wikia's new infobox system. Here is a demo of what I have so far. I'm going to do the CSS visual styling last, right now I'm trying to get multi-image to work on my v2 template.
Thanks. I haven't been very active on Wikia for the last couple of years, but I used to create super fancy mediawiki templates (and system of templates). Not sure how much has changed with templates and extensions on wikia though.
