Plot[]
Arriving in the class from the retry tests, Arata finds Chizuru in the middle of an argument with the other students. As expected, they are unhappy with Chizuru deciding everyone's tasks by herself, however Chizuru feels it is justified due to their earlier lack of interest. Hana is being particularly vocal in opposing Chizuru, and complains that working more than others does not give her the right to ignore others' opinions. This brings to Chizuru's mind a memory from her working life of being told that others are complaining about her thickheadedness. Chizuru is stunned and unable to say anything more, and Arata notices her discomfort.
Having heard both parties' views and seeing the points they made, Arata mediates the situation. He suggests that they use Chizuru's work as a starting point and improve on her worthy efforts based on everyone else's input, and manages to get the others to share their ideas and to get the discussion moving forward.
In the evening, Chizuru is working on the project at home. Remembering how Arata got everyone else working together, she briefly reconsiders her way of doing things but pushes the thought aside, determined to do better herself despite Arata being soft and everyone else being slow.
Writing her report on the events, An notes that Chizuru's potential for work achievement would be impressive if she only could learn to co-operate. Again she drifts off to her dreams of Arata always being there to support Chizuru even if others turn against her so she would never be isolated.
