Characters[]
Plot[]
Arata tries to talk to Chizuru after she collapsed on the floor. She does not respond, and as her forehead is hot, Arata takes her to the nurse's office carrying her on his back. Despite the seriousness of the situation, having her body so close to his own sends Arata's heart racing, but he tells himself it is due to his less than ideal physical condition.
Chizuru has a rather high temperature, and Sumire suspects the cause is accumulated fatigue as Ms. Amatsu told her about Chizuru and Arata's current workload. Sumire wants to contact Chizuru's parents, but to Arata's surprise, she tells her that she lives alone. Sumire then leaves Arata to watch over Chizuru as she goes to the staff room to find someone to take her home.
As Arata sits down beside Chizuru's bed, she asks him to go back to supervise the work in the classroom, unaware that it has all been done already. Saddened, Arata asks her if she really cannot rely on the rest of them to get anything done. He tells her that instead of taking over every task as soon as there is a lack of progress, she should work together with everyone so they could all share the sense of accomplishment. Chizuru remains silent, but hearing Arata's words reminds her of being accused for causing a similar situation at work.
