Synopsis
Rena and Honoka wonder what is keeping Chizuru and Arata from going out together, and Arata's retest loop gives Rena an opportunity to give Arata a hand in return for his helping her and Kazuomi earlier.

Plot
Lying on his bed, Arata is reflecting on what is remaining of his ReLIFE experiment: it is four months until the end of the experiment, but he will only be going to school for two of them. While he doubts if he will be able to endure keeping his feelings for Chizuru to himself as they keep getting closer to each other, he thinks that as a responsible adult he cannot confess to her even if he wants to.
In the school cafeteria Rena and Honoka ask Chizuru about her and Arata's relationship, and are baffled as Chizuru tells them there is nothing going on. However, while she denies that spying on Rena and Kazuomi with Arata was a date, Chizuru reveals that she would not mind going out with him but does not think it is going happen. Later, Rena and Honoka try to figure out what it is that is holding Chizuru and Arata up, but cannot see any reason why they are not already going out as they are obviously in love with each other.
In the classroom Rena finds out that Arata is still doing retests, and gets an idea about how to speed things up between Chizuru and Arata. She offers to help him get out of the loop together with Kazuomi and they agree to arrange a study group at Arata's place, however she has something more in mind for the meeting than what she lets Arata in on.
