Plot[]
Ryō has come over at Arata's place for some beers and to reflect on the recent events. Arata receives a text from Rena telling him she knows he told Chizuru about their discussion in the infirmary, but while he expects to be berated she instead thanks him for what he did.
Remembering his time in working life, the less than ideal circumstances in his company and quitting after only three months, Arata wonders if he was right to tell Rena what he did about the value of hard work. Ryō tells Arata that he just told Rena what he honestly believes, which he finds impressive in its own right given Arata's experience. He adds that even if Rena ends up forgetting who it was that scolded her that night, her life will be affected by Arata's words. Arata also receives a message from Chizuru telling him they became friends with Rena and thanking him for his efforts. Despite the usual businesslike tone of her message, Arata gladly thinks Chizuru must have felt happy while writing it.
The following day at the school cafeteria Rena and Honoka walk up to Chizuru's table to join her for lunch, and Rena has to remind Chizuru of her wanting to change when she tells them she does not mind eating alone. Both Arata and Ryō are happy to see the girls together, and Ryō notes in his report that the conflict between them was solved due to Arata choosing to help them instead of only thinking of himself and that he is really glad to have Arata as his subject.
