Hishiron the Oblivious (
Synopsis
Rena takes the morning off from school, and Honoka and Chizuru go to lunch together without her. Though she fails to understand Honoka's behavior, Chizuru notices that things are not like usual.

Lunch break begins and Honoka asks Chizuru to go to the cafeteria with her, telling her that Rena is taking the day off from school. They go to the cafeteria together, unaware that Ryō was listening to their conversation.
In the cafeteria Honoka tries to strike up some casual conversation, but Chizuru notes that Honoka's face, her eyes in particular, looks weird somehow. As Chizuru takes some wild guesses at the reason Honoka is embarrassed for showing it so obviously on her face that she has cried, but is thankful that the insensitive Chizuru does not seem to realize it.
Recalling what happened with her previous volleyball team, Honoka asks Chizuru if she has ever hurt anyone because of her intelligence or been hated because of her ability to do anything. However, not understanding that she is actually talking about herself Chizuru is unable to follow, and Honoka drops the topic.
As the girls arrive at the classroom door they find that Rena has come to school. Upon seeing Rena Honoka wants to go and ask her about her ankle and how long it will take for it to heal, worried about not being able to play in their last tournament together. However, as Rena turns to face her, Honoka is jolted. She turns back at the door saying she is going to the bathroom, and Chizuru is left wondering about things seeming weird with Honoka and Rena.
