Plot[]
Kazuomi and Chizuru are carrying a huge stack of exam papers as part of their duties as class representatives. Kazuomi complains about the workload, but Chizuru replies that they are well compensated for it. As Kazuomi laughs and points out that Rena said the same thing, Chizuru realizes that the reason Rena wanted to be the class representative was to be with Kazuomi.
Later, Chizuru pretends to have caught a cold and asks Rena to stand in for her in a representatives’ council meeting. Rena calls Chizuru out on pretending, and whispers to her that she does not need favors. Kazuomi is confused as he believed Chizuru's act, but Arata understands what her purpose was and goes to talk with her about it.
Rena and Kazuomi look on from a distance. Rena inwardly notes that despite being bad at school Arata is quite mature in his awareness of what is going on around him, in stark contrast with Chizuru’s blindness of even her own feelings. Kazuomi flat out asks if Rena thinks Chizuru is in love with Arata. Rena immediately denies, like Chizuru herself did during a discussion about Chizuru's weird feelings about Arata, and notes that both Kazuomi and Chizuru have their blind spots they should be working on first.
Amusedly, Arata commends Chizuru about the intent of her trick and Chizuru wonders why Rena wasn’t happy about it. Arata explains that she was just embarrassed and approvingly pats her head, but she just gets annoyed by the condescension from someone dumb like him.
